Intent

The intent of this site is to praise the real heroes who built India. The site gives recognition to people who do not get much public recognition.

Who we include

We include only people who did their main work in one of these fields:

We do not include a person who held a political office or a post in a political party after 15 August 1947. These people already have public recognition.

Living people

For a living person, we show only data that the person made public. We do not show a home address, a phone number or data about the family. If a living person asks us to remove their page, we will remove it.

Controversies

Some pages show controversies about the work of a person. We give the facts and a source for each fact. We do not give our opinion.

Data

We use only data that is in the public domain. Each page gives its sources. The data can contain errors. Do not use this site as a legal or official record.

If you find an error, tell us. We will correct the page.

Photos

We use only photos that are in the public domain or that have an open licence. Each photo has a credit line on its page. If you own a photo on this site and you do not agree with its use, tell us. We will remove the photo.

No affiliation

This site has no connection to a political party, a government or a commercial company.
